After School Clubs
Clubs are an important part of school life and offer children an important range of opportunities and skills. Look out for a letter each half term detailing the clubs on offer.
Clubs on offer this year include cooking, team games, building computer games and even a flying club!
We try hard to accommodate all children each half term in our clubs, but sometimes, due to their popularity this is not possible. Any children who miss out on a club space are then prioritised in the following half term.
Due to the popularity of our clubs, prompt payment via ParentPay is necessary to secure your child's place and if payment is not made this place will be offered to the next child on the list.
If a club has less than 12 children allocated this will result in the club being cancelled. We hope that your child can take full advantage of what we have on offer. Despite teachers being mindful that their limited time after school must be focused on planning, preparation and assessment, all of our teachers are kind enough to run a club at some point in the year.
Our partners at P&E sports offer a variety of different sports clubs throughout the year. These tend to be very popular and places are secured through the P&E website.
Please note that we have rules in school so we can all be safe and happy. Although the atmosphere during the school clubs is different to that throughout the school day, children’s happiness and safety remain important. As a consequence, we expect children to keep to the school rules, such as following instructions straight away, being kind and caring towards others, speaking respectfully to others and caring for equipment and the environment.
